More about DUST...
An excerpt of DUST was presented at Series 8:08 in Toronto on February, 26th. 8:08 offers it's audience the opportunity to respond, in writing, to work-in-progress:
"I loved it. Great, intricate movement sequences. Wonderful, flowing partner work. Amazing connected presence between the dancers. I was intrigued the entire time."
"Gorgeous specificity in the arms and legs. These two people were really dancing. I felt them moving towards a need. I felt need. The desperation at the end was so beautiful; I wanted more. I could not pick up my pen; I am writing this after. I felt a spark, so beautiful, so inspiring. Thank you."
"...beautiful, tragic, craving movement."
"Excellent, moving, riveting."
"Beautiful and intense; a definite connection between the dancers in movement and feeling. Loved the give and take of power in the piece."
"Loved the dynamics and energy." "Completely captivating. Great courage."
"Lyrical togetherness becomes partner struggle leading to two solitudes and finally, peace and departure. Very competent choreography and dancers."
"Beautiful, touching, emotional; like a love/hate relationship." "Let me know when I can see all of this piece (and all the duets). Very dynamic story of two who love but must part."
"Wowee! They made me grind my teeth- literally. Ewwwwie!"
